By accessing the website at cerritosconcretecompany.com or by requesting services from Cerritos Concrete Company ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use our website or request our services. These terms apply to all visitors, clients, and others who access or use our website.
Cerritos Concrete Company provides residential and commercial concrete contracting services in Cerritos, CA and surrounding areas. Services include but are not limited to concrete driveways, patios, sidewalks, slabs, retaining walls, pool decks, steps, foundations, and related concrete work.
All services are subject to a separate written contract or work order signed by both parties prior to the start of any project. Nothing on this website constitutes a binding offer or guarantee of service.
Estimates provided by Cerritos Concrete Company are based on a visual assessment of the project site and the scope of work described by the client at the time of the estimate. Estimates are not binding quotes until confirmed in a signed written contract.
Prices may be adjusted if conditions at the job site differ materially from what was represented at the time of estimate. Any changes to the scope of work that affect cost will be documented in a written change order and require the client's written approval before the additional work proceeds.
Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated in writing. Material and labor costs are subject to change after that period.
Project start dates are estimated at the time of contract signing and are subject to change due to weather, permit processing times, material availability, or scheduling conflicts. We will communicate any significant changes to your scheduled start date as soon as we are aware of them.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a confirmed project, please contact us at least 72 hours before the scheduled start date. Cancellations made after work has begun may be subject to charges for work completed, materials ordered, and permitting costs already incurred on your behalf.
We reserve the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions that would compromise the quality of the concrete pour or cure. We will not pour concrete during rain or when temperatures are outside the acceptable range for proper curing.
Payment terms are specified in the written contract for each project. A deposit may be required before work begins. The remaining balance is due upon completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee as specified in the written contract. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue work on any project where payment obligations are not met.
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your written contract. Personal checks are accepted subject to the client maintaining sufficient funds. Returned checks may incur a processing fee.
The client is responsible for ensuring that the work area is reasonably clear and accessible before the scheduled start date. This includes removing vehicles, furniture, plants, and personal property from the work area. Failure to do so may delay the project and could result in additional charges.
The client is responsible for verifying any homeowners association rules or restrictions that apply to the planned work and for obtaining any required HOA approvals before signing a contract. We are not responsible for HOA compliance issues arising from work performed to the client's specifications.
We warrant that all work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner using materials and methods suitable for the type of project. Any specific warranty terms will be stated in your written contract.
Concrete is a natural material that may develop hairline cracks over time due to normal settling, thermal expansion, and soil movement. Small hairline cracks are not covered by any workmanship warranty unless they result from a defect in the work itself. We will evaluate warranty claims on a case-by-case basis.
Damage caused by tree roots, heavy vehicle loads beyond the specified design, acts of nature, or conditions outside our control is not covered under any workmanship warranty.
Except as expressly stated in a written contract, all services are provided "as is" and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cerritos Concrete Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services or website, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of use, or property damage beyond the direct cost of the work performed.
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific project giving rise to the claim.
